Natalie KaplanBetween the familiar and the imagined.

Natalie Kaplan is a multidisciplinary artist working across imagery, video, and photography. Her practice exists in the space where realism, imagination, and abstraction meet. She breaks apart familiar patterns, structures, and perceptions, reconstructing them into cinematic images that unsettle the familiar and offer new ways of seeing.
Color is a central element of her visual language; saturated palettes estrange the familiar while charging the image with emotion, atmosphere, and tension.
Her work explores the relationships between inner and outer worlds, the human and the natural, the intimate and the vast, and the moments of fragility and tenderness that emerge at their intersections. At the heart of her practice is an exploration of how artificial intelligence can open new possibilities for visual language and emotional expression.
